Single students will live in state-of-the art newly renovated housing. Married students have the option of living in any of our on-campus apartments. The application for housing is separate from admission to Boyce College, and students are encouraged to apply even before admitted to the school. For more information, visit SBTS Student Housing.
Boyce students have dining options in The Dining Hall and Founders’ Café. Meal plans offer options for all-you-can eat meals and options for declining balances of “flex dollars”. Meal plans are included in the room and board costs and are selected as a part of the housing move-in process. For more information, visit SBTS Dining Services.
Boyce College students have access to Southern Seminary’s Hagan Clinic. The clinic offers a limited health maintenance program, staffed by a charge nurse and physician. Upon presentation of valid identification, current students and their immediate family may use the clinic.
Appointments are scheduled by calling (502) 897-4497 weekdays, and honored according to arrival, yet urgent cases do receive priority. Repeated cancellation results in the loss of future access.
Students pay a ten dollar charge for consultation with the physician, and all fees are due at the time of service.
Students and their dependents should have hospitalization insurance. During matriculation, a policy may be purchased through GuideStone Financial Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention.
All clinic charts are filed under the name of the student. Written requests for the release of records must include the full name of the person under whose name the records are filed, plus the date of graduation/withdrawal.
An Authorization for Disclosure form must be signed in person at the clinic or notarized before records can be released.
The Shield is a student multi-functional ID card that remains valid during the term of registration.
Each student must carry the Shield card while on campus, and present it when requesting services from any office. ID photographs comply with the standard for decorum and dress.
To obtain a Shield Card, please present a photo ID to the Department of Campus Police. We’ll be taking your picture, so male students must wear a collared shirt. You may not wear caps, t-shirts or facial jewelry.
Spouses and dependents may obtain cards after entering the necessary data into the online Shield Card Family Registration Form and may submit the form by pushing the “submit button” at the bottom of the form or by bringing to the Campus Police office. Please allow up to 48 hours for processing once the form has been submitted.
For replacement cards or inquiries, contact Campus Police at (502) 897-4444.
