Meals

Boyce students have dining options in The Dining Hall and Founders’ Café. Meal plans offer options for all-you-can eat meals and options for declining balances of “flex dollars”. Meal plans are included in the room and board costs and are selected as a part of the housing move-in process. For more information, visit SBTS Dining Services.

Health Clinic

Boyce College students have access to Southern Seminary’s Hagan Clinic. The clinic offers a limited health maintenance program, staffed by a charge nurse and physician. Upon presentation of valid identification, current students and their immediate family may use the clinic.

Appointments are scheduled by calling (502) 897-4497 weekdays, and honored according to arrival, yet urgent cases do receive priority. Repeated cancellation results in the loss of future access.

Students pay a ten dollar charge for consultation with the physician, and all fees are due at the time of service.

Hagan Clinic

Health Insurance

Students and their dependents should have hospitalization insurance. During matriculation, a policy may be purchased through GuideStone Financial Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention.

All clinic charts are filed under the name of the student. Written requests for the release of records must include the full name of the person under whose name the records are filed, plus the date of graduation/withdrawal.

An Authorization for Disclosure form must be signed in person at the clinic or notarized before records can be released.

Shield ID Cards

Shield ID Cards are a student and employee identification card. The Shield ID is required to utilize many services on campus such as the Health and Recreation Center (HRC), Health Clinic, and Library. The Shield ID also works in conjunction with student meal plans for campus dining services including the Dining Hall, Founder’s Cafe, and Scholar’s Coffee. For instructions on how to obtain a Shield Card and submission requirements, click here.
