Southern Seminary and Boyce College recently welcomed hundreds of guests to campus for their fall Preview Days, an opportunity for prospective students to experience firsthand what makes these institutions distinct. On October 10, 147 guests attended Southern Seminary’s Preview Day. The following week, October 16–17, Boyce College hosted 320 visitors for its largest fall Preview event ever.

Boyce College announced that Claire Aguda will join the faculty in the spring semester as Assistant Professor of Politics and Humanities. Aguda brings a strong background in the conservative intellectual movement, higher education, and cultural renewal initiatives to Boyce College.

The Fall 2025 convocation at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Boyce College marked the beginning of a new academic term, celebrating the new while grounding all the work of the seminary and college in the unchanging Christian faith.

Boyce College is pleased to announce the appointment of David Haines as Associate Professor of Philosophy. With an exceptional academic background and with extensive teaching and publishing experience, Haines brings a rich blend of classical philosophy and deep theological reflection to the Boyce College faculty.

President R. Albert Mohler Jr. has announced the appointment of Ryan Lister as the new Dean of Students at Boyce College. Lister will also join the faculty, bringing over two decades of experience in theological education and pastoral ministry to the Boyce community.

The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced Daniel Smith of Boyce College as the recipient of the 2025 Pete Maravich Award for Men’s Basketball.

Trevor Nauert does not regret spending his college years as a student-athlete. Even more, a Christian college student-athlete. Nauert is a senior guard for the Boyce College Men’s Basketball Team, averaging close to 19 points a game for the Bulldogs.
