Trevor Coleman

Trevor Coleman serves as Assistant Professor of Church Music and Worship in the Department of Biblical Worship at Southern Seminary. He has directed the Doxology Vocal Ensemble at Southern since 2022 and has served as a voice instructor at Boyce College since 2020. Coleman brings more than a decade of pastoral ministry experience to the classroom, serving as Worship Pastor at Hurstbourne Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky, since 2020, and previously as Minister of Worship at Berea First Baptist Church in Greenville, South Carolina. He earned his Master of Church Music from Southern Seminary and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Christian Worship at Southern Seminary, with an anticipated graduation of 2027. He is married to Chelsey, and they have two children.
