Dr. Solomon holds a PhD in Biblical Counseling from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he also earned a Master of Divinity in Christian Ministries, and a Master of Theology in Christian Philosophy. Dr. Solomon has a diverse vocational background. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force and worked for the federal Department of Veterans Affairs. He has also served and led in local church pastoral ministry, parachurch organizations, and academic institutions. He is a certified biblical counselor, and serves as the Executive Director of the Biblical Counseling Coalition. He also serves as Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator for Biblical Counseling at Boyce College. Dr. Solomon’s PhD research centered on Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) and he is passionate about helping people who have experienced trauma and equipping others to do so as well. His “Reorienting” courses offer online training for counselors in this area and serves on the advisory board of two excellent ministries created to help veterans find Christ-centered biblical solutions for their struggles with PTS (Mighty Oaks
Foundation, Fallen Soldiers March). He is the creator of the Transformation Bible Study Journal and author of Redeem: Hope for Husbands Who Have Hurt Through Pornography (New Growth Press, April 2022).
