Dr. Solomon holds a PhD in Biblical Counseling from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he also earned a Master of Divinity in Christian Ministries, and a Master of Theology in Christian Philosophy. Dr. Solomon has a diverse vocational background. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force and worked for the federal Department of Veterans Affairs. He has also served and led in local church pastoral ministry, and parachurch organizations. He is a biblical counselor, and served as the Executive Director of the Biblical Counseling Coalition for nine years. In addition to his role at Boyce he is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Sentinel Institute. Dr. Solomon’s PhD research centered on Post Traumatic Stress (PTS). He is passionate about helping people who have experienced trauma and equipping others to do so as well. He is the author of Redeem: Hope for Husbands Who Have Hurt Through Pornography (New Growth Press, April 2022) and I have PTSD: Reorienting After Trauma (New Growth Press, 2023).
