Claire Baker

Claire Baker joins the Boyce College faculty as Assistant Professor of Politics and Humanities. She brings a rich background in political thought and engagement, as well as deep insight into the major forces shaping conservative thought in the United States. Her experience spans the conservative intellectual movement, higher education, and cultural renewal initiatives.

Baker is completing her Ph.D. in Humanities at Faulkner University and holds both an M.S. in Education and a B.A. in International Affairs and English Literature from Florida State University. Her previous roles include Project Manager at the National Review Institute, Visiting Research Fellow at the Russell Kirk Center for Cultural Renewal, and Director of Alumni, Faculty, and Graduate Students at the Intercollegiate Studies Institute.

Through her work managing academic fellowships, editing publications, and directing national conferences, Baker has contributed significantly to advancing Christian and conservative scholarship. At Boyce College, she helps students engage the great conversation of the Western tradition and think deeply about faith in the public square.
