Brent Small

Brent earned a B.S. in Business Administration at Indiana University and then earned his Master of Accounting at Florida Atlantic University. Upon finishing his master’s degree, he felt the call to ministry and began work in the local church. After five years of local church ministry, the Lord led Brent and his family to southern California, where he would enroll at the Master’s Seminary. In 2010, he graduated with his Master of Divinity degree and was called to Cascades Bible Church in Sterling, Virginia. Brent served as the Senior Pastor for seven years. After his time pastoring, he was called to the ministry at Southern Seminary. Brent has served for six years as the Associate Vice President of Human Resources, Events and Campus Services. During this time he also took and passed the CPA exam and became a licensed CPA. He began teaching adjunctly at Boyce College in the Fall of 2022.

Brent is married to Kim and have been blessed with four children. He loves to do yard work, home improvement projects, reading, following sports and spending time with his family.
