Barry Gibson

Barry Gibson is an experienced educator with over twenty years of service in the field of education. He has taught in both public and private school settings across Kentucky, with instructional experience spanning elementary, middle, secondary, and postsecondary levels. His academic credentials include degrees in education, educational administration, and theology.
A native of southeastern Kentucky, Dr. Gibson and his family have lived in Louisville for the past fourteen years. In addition to his academic work, he serves as the pastor of Jeffersontown Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. His personal interests include reading, hunting, fishing, studying emerging adult culture, and following sports. He is married to Julie, and together they have four children: Isaac, James, Anna Kate, and Maggie Ellen.
